Jeanne McKenna and Kari Willmott were serving on the Redbird Vocal Booster Board in 2021 when they decided to create a show choir at the middle school together. Being show choir parents of high schoolers, they both felt passionate about creating opportunities for mid-level students, including their own children who were approaching middle school age. Jeanne was a member of Jam Session in her high school days and leads vocal direction.  Kari studied dance for many years and leads choreography direction.  What started as a passion project has grown into a popular performing arts program in our district, and they both plan on directing for years to come!
